Tranquility on Parkridge

Location very convenient to the Cairns airport and not bad getting into the city itself. Room was nicely appointed, bed very comfortable. Basic kitchenette stocked adequately. Nice small patio to enjoy view of the tree-clad hillsides and listen to the many birds in the neighborhood. Bathroom was very modern with nice amenities. The hosts are also able to provide some valuable services if you need or want them - at a cost, of course. We utilized them for a few rides, including to the airport. The price was comparable to ride share services and very convenient. One of the hosts is also a masseuse and after five weeks traveling around Australia, it was nice to get a massage the morning of our departure flight.

The location was perfect for us for one night, as it was on the way to Karunga which we visited in the afternoon, and was near Cairns airport. It was a lovely studio with tranquil surroundings but without a car it is not a suitable accommodation. It is a studio attached to a private home, but very private. It is a very pretty upmarket residential neighborhood. Quiet. The host offers to give lift to airport, if for some reason you do not have a car and arrive by taxi, I suppose.
