De Elaaf The Luxury Stay

I was looking for a place to stay in Srinagar quite late at night and came across a few properties. I suddenly decided to book De Elaaf The Luxury Stay, and honestly, I’m so glad I did.Tonight is my last night in Srinagar as I’m heading to Pahalgam, and this has been one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had during my trip. The staff are absolutely wonderful very polite, humble, welcoming, and genuinely cooperative. I also had an online conference during my stay, so a good internet connection was very important for me. The Wi-Fi was excellent. They even arranged a separate internet connection/router specifically for my room, which was extremely helpful. The team kept telling me, “If you need anything, just let us know.” That level of personal attention really stood out. I also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Wasim, one of the operational managers. We had a lovely conversation in the beautiful garden area of the property. He was very friendly and helpful, and he recommended some nearby attractions and restaurants. I later visited Ahdoos for Wazwan, and the food was absolutely delicious. The location is another big advantage. De Elaaf is centrally located in Srinagar, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. Lal Chowk and Dal Lake are approximately 10 minutes away by car, depending on traffic. I stayed in a very clean and comfortable Garden View room, and I really enjoyed the peaceful garden atmosphere despite being in the city centre. Overall, I would happily give this property 10/10. The cleanliness, location, beautiful garden, excellent Wi-Fi, and especially the wonderful team made my stay memorable. Highly, highly recommended for anyone visiting Srinagar. A big kudos to the entire De Elaaf team for their excellent hospitality and teamwork!

Extremely friendly staff and very courteous., Location was perfect, away from the noise and traffic yet not far from downtown. Can repeat my stay here.

Facilities were limited. So it is just the room and breakfast. But that is OK as I went to the river side for morning walk and run and which is very close.

The garden was very beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful

The breakfast could be better. Hair dryer- very bad conditions.

The location and food was good.

The shower head was broken and we couldn’t use the shower.
