Very good value, especially for a private room. The room was clean, everything worked well and the place was quiet. Everyone was very kind and helpful. They picked me up when I arrived, which was included in the price. They also offer food and tuk-tuk services for sightseeing. They give you the prices and options but are not pushy at all. The breakfasts were really good, and the tuk-tuk driver who took me around the stupas and other places was very nice and patient.

Nothing to complain about

I stayed for two nights on my own and felt incredibly well looked after from the very first moment. The family is exceptionally friendly, reliable and attentive, and the owner’s personal dedication to making guests feel welcome and comfortable is truly palpable. The room was clean and wonderfully quiet. I also highly recommend the food – even a spontaneous lunch was prepared for me. The tuk-tuk driver from the homestay took me around the temples of Anuradhapura in the morning, and in the afternoon to Mihintale. Along the way, he stopped at interesting places and made the whole experience feel very personal and relaxed. As a solo traveller, I especially appreciated the warmth, care and genuine hospitality – I would happily return!

Great location, easy to access the Ancient City and see the sights!

Such welcoming hosts. Delicious dinner and breakfast. They made it so easy for us by organising a Tuk Tuk tour for us and getting our taxi when we left. So relaxing and great value.
