The home current structure is from the 14th century and it has been recently restored by the architect and interior designer owner to become a comfortable and unique vacation home that will take you on a journey through the history of Italy and the town of Civita di Bagnoregio. The 14th century core has a living room, dining room, a study and 3 bedroom suites all with private bath: it sleeps 6 people in queen and king size beds and has room for 2 extra people in twin beds. An older part of the house is composed of caves and grottos dating back to Etruscan and Roman times that have been fully incorporated into the home's livable spaces: it also boasts a unique wine cellar inside a Roman water cistern and a meditation room.
Everything is designed with beauty and the comfort of our guests in mind. All the finishes and material are superb and the amenities provided are very luxurious.

The unit was well equipped and was in a great location. The only real issue was access to the unit from the parking lot that was a kilometer away and required payment to park. It was also not noted that the walk from the parking lot could be onerous for anybody with mobility issues or health issues as the walk had significant incline and decline . As well, it was not fully detailed how to connect with the person who had a unit that could transport your luggage from the parking lot to the unit for a reasonable charge. Had difficulty in getting this organized when we first arrived and only when we were able to connect with the local police that we were able to get this all arranged. Other than this difficulty we really enjoyed the unit and its fantastic views and history. Great restaurants in the area.

Three couples loved staying in this unique and chic dwelling. Well equipped kitchen, large gathering spaces, comfortable beds. It is a good uphill walk from parking lot to the apartment. The town is very quiet, but we found a good selection of restaurants .

We are so thankful for the opportunity to have stayed in this magical property. Our hosts were wonderfully kind and helpful and the property beyond amazing. Beautiful marriage of history and modern comfort - simply stunning.

Just returned from an amazing stay in Civita. This property is incredible and the town is magical. Chiara welcomed us to the home and prepared a lovely arrival meal which was very welcome after our travels, and she was available during the week to answer any questions and help with anything we needed. This was a truly memorable stay in such a unique property, thank you!!
