Stayed at Strawberry Fields for a luckily dry April weekend after deciding our usual Forest H_______ lodge was too expensive.
This was excellent and did not disappoint, modern, clean and very well equipped, like a home from home. A bottle of wine, coffee pods, milk in the fridge, hot tub ready. The grounds are very well kept too. Well located 5 minutes out of Cheddar but away from the hustle of the busy little town. The Cider Barn near the top of the site is ok for an emergency pint with a good range of ciders and snacks.

Very lovely accommodation and nice quiet site. Some furnishings were superb such as bed and decor. Dining table chairs were more like outdoor seating. Sofa not very clean i think leather would be more serviceable. Habing a young dog would have wanted /expected a better gate for secure outside area but other than that outside space lovely. We stayed in a 5* last year which set the benchmark high so i would say this is definately more like 4* and demonstates lack of general facilities on site, but that said it was much cheaper so still good.value for.money.
