Space for running and fitness trail just behind the house. Petanque court, basketball court for young people 100 meters away, outdoor games for very young children 200 meters away.
Many visits in the surrounding area: Caen Castle and its old quarter, the Peace Memorial Museum, the D-Day landing beaches, the American cemetery, Omaha Beach, the seaside beaches of Riva Bella or the wilder beach of Franceville.
An hour's drive away: Mont Saint Michel, Honfleur and its old port, Deauville and its planks and the basilica of Lisieux. A little further on, Etretat and its cliffs or the fortified town of St Malo...
And for children, the pretty animal park in Jurques and the Festyland entertainment park in Caen.
Quick access via the Normandy motorway and then the Caen highway loop.

This is an enjoyable property. We booked across a national holiday weekend unknowingly, which impacted business hours for restaurants & supplies.The location is great for access to regional attractions. Downtown is 10-15 min by local streets; big roadway access for destinations is around the corner. This is a lite property with just what you need. The photos are exactly what you encounter. The towels could use a refresh. Make sure you know how to run the heater if the weather is cool.
