The location of this beach house was excellent and was the highlight of our stay.Unfortunately, the home itself didn't meet our expectations for a premium vacation rental. While it appeared to have received a basic cleaning, it was clear it hadn't been deep cleaned in quite some time. There was dust on ledges, light fixtures, and ceiling fans, dirty walls, mirrors, The kitchen felt cluttered and disorganized, including a drawer filled with old sauce packets and miscellaneous items. The furniture throughout the home was very dated and worn. The deck chairs were covered in bird droppings and spider webs, so we had to clean them ourselves before using them. The jacuzzi also had sand in it when we arrived. We reported it on Thursday, the owner did address it on Saturday morning, but that left us little time to use it before we checked out.Overall, the location was great, but the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall condition of the home didn't match the price or the premium experience we expected.
