Guests have exclusive access to the second and third floors of the apartment building. Please note that the first floor includes a common hallway shared with another apartment, as this is a duplex. However, your privacy is completely assured once you enter your private space on the upper floors.
Other things to note
We do NOT provide parking. To maintain a peaceful environment, we utilize noise monitors to ensure our neighbors' comfort. We welcome furry friends for an additional fee of $25 per day per pet, making it easier for you to bring your beloved companions along for the trip.

We had to book an impromptu trip due to a family loss and Tom's place was not only peaceful but very clean and located near plenty of food and not a far drive to all the museums. We had 3 adults and 3 small kids, everyone was comfortable. He was communicative from the beginning to end. Flawless entry and exit. When we need to come back to Pittsburgh, we will definitely hit up Tom!

Great location, just a block or so off Butler Street. Street parking can sometimes be tricky but that is Lawrenceville for you, overall no issues and we were always able to find a spot within a few blocks and often right outside. There was plenty of space for our family of four; each kid had their own room upstairs (would consider bringing a baby gate if you have a toddler; stairs are also carpeted too) and we all slept great. Host communicated well. Good value especially for location. We didn't spend a lot of time there because it was well situated for walking around and exploring PGH!

We stayed for two nights - great location, great restaurants and easily walkable from the T-Bird. Went to Phish show and it cost 8 for an uber in 100 degree weather from Lawrenceville to the Pete. Can’t beat it. Very nice, comfortable! Will stay again!

The apartment is super close to Butler Street which makes for easy walking to restaurants/bars/shops. There are a few small convenience stores close by for milk, ice, etc, but if you want to have more food in the unit, you'll need a car to shop. The host was very communicative and answered messages in a reasonable time. The bed on the kitchen floor was super comfy. There are 15 steps to the kitchen floor and another 15 to the next floor with 2 bedrooms. It was enough space for 4 of us, but 6 adults might be a bit tight, especially with 1 bathroom. We got lucky every evening and found parking right near the unit.
