On your journey through the province of Cádiz—from the countryside to the mountains and at the entrance to the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park—you’ll find one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, What is Arcos de la Frontera like? Within its municipal boundaries lies the Cortijo de Liche Rural Tourist Accommodation, a rural lodging that can accommodate up to 16 people.
The house is located about 15 kilometers from the town of Arcos de la Frontera, one of the largest towns in the Sierra de Cádiz. The history of the Sierra is closely tied to this town; and after the Reconquista, the Catholic Monarchs turned it into a duchy, transferring control of the entire Sierra de Cádiz to Don Rodrigo Ponce de León (Duke of Arcos), so the entire mountain range came under his rule under the name Señorío de las Siete Villas.
On our tour of the city, we can’t miss a stroll through the historic center of Arcos de la Frontera; it will give us the feeling of stepping back in time, with its picturesque spots, bars, restaurants, and taverns where we can enjoy tapas and meals in these charming corners.
Once we’ve rested, right there we can visit the churches of San Pedro and Santa María, the Plaza del Cabildo—where the City Hall and the Parador hotel are located—and take a close look at one of the city’s most iconic landmarks: the Peña de Arcos.

Cortijo de Liche rural vacation rental is a restored historic farmhouse
Cortijo de Liche rural vacation rental is a fully private, restored farmhouse located on a farm dedicated to crop cultivation and livestock raising. When we arrived at the house, the first thing we saw was a large open area where we could park our vehicles, followed by the pool, surrounded by a large sun deck as well as a barbecue area with a small shade structure—all fenced in—and a restroom. We continued toward the house and entered a typical Andalusian courtyard, which led us to the two sections that make up the farmhouse.
On the left side, there is a living-dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms, and a bathroom with a shower; on the right side, there is a living-dining room with a fireplace, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a bathtub.
From the courtyard, we climb a flight of stairs to a large terrace with breathtaking views of the Sierra de Cádiz; on the other side is a spacious 100-meter living room featuring a large dining table, a fireplace, and a small kitchen separated by a counter; The living room is surrounded by large windows overlooking the Sierra de Cádiz and the estate.

It has air conditioning for both cooling and heating.
