Villa Poseidon -Boutique Hotel-

Staff and cleanliness was excellent, the position was superb for views over the port and harbour

We loved everything but wish the hotel wasn't on top of a hill , the climb was steep . We both like to walk so it wasn't really an issue. The pool bar wasn't open but I understand because there was limited guests.

The location, the swimming pool and the friendly staff are all wonderful and so much value for such a good price. We chose the cheapest room and still had all we needed. We will come back.

Sehr schöne Aussicht auf das Meer

The location was the draw card here. This place was picked in the past. Could have been amazing as they had elements of what was once an amazing place to stay. Gardens were pretty. Funky blue lights. Pool and terrace

Stuck in the past. The rooms needed a good renovation. I had ants everywhere in my room. The pool was only open 10-6 (although we did manage to slip in before 7)) crazy in summer when it’s still light. Breakfast was like being stuck in a weird movie. We filled out a form for an odd selection of foods, which were delivered to us on a tray by an old Italian lady and a cat… on deserted terrace restaurant which was stuck in the past. We thought we were the only ones there but then me some other pained guests.. who seemed as confused by the place as we were. On site parking but charged £20 a night. Every time we tried to drive out we had to wait for the manager to automatically open the gates. A long walk into Salerno - did not attempt!
