Immediately upon entering this princely private villa it is clear that this property's most distinguished feature is its truly unique setting which commands an absolutely stunning view of sculpted rice terraces all around and as far as the ocean and the island of Nusa Penida beyond. The house combines contemporary architecture with traditional Balinese design elements and offers real comfort in a minimalist setting. As much of the living space as possible has been built to take in the views.The upper floor is 'open plan' and light and airy with a soaring wooden roof and hardwood timber flooring. The house has been tastefully furnished, with large teak sofas, lazy chairs and low coffee tables which all add to the cosiness. Facing East, the sunrise seen from the comfort of your own bed is spectacular.Throughout the day the position of the sun dictates the ever changing scene while at night the villa takes on a completely different character with the subtle lighting creating a dreamlike quality.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the New Majestic Villa. It is a little off thebeaten track, which makes it perfect for getting away from the noise and crowds and enjoying some downtime. Nofi is lovely and her cooking was exceptional. We are all missing her amazing nightly dinners, and delicious banana pancakes at breakfast.Made was easy to communicate with and drove us anywhere we wanted to go. He was also great at suggesting activities/outings for us, and knew the best times to go to beat the crowds.The pool was perfect, great size and perfect temperature. We would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a quieter Bali stay, while still being close enough to explore Ubud and the surrounds.

Beautiful house, excellent food made by the remarkable Housekeeper/Chef and very friendly and knowledgeable driver to take us anywhere we wanted. Awesome hoiday :)

We had a wonderful stay at New Majestic Villa. The villa overlooks a valley with tropical vegetation and from the top floor you can see the sea. It has a wonderful tropical garden and a very large swimmung pool. At night, the garden and pool are very nicely illuminated which creates a great and unique athmosphere. The staff at the villa are fantastic and very kind. Every day, Nofi, the chef made the most delicious meals for us. We were so impressed that we told her that she should open a restaurant (and we are sure she would be very successful). Made, the driver took us safely to many excursions across the island. He is also veey knowledgeable about Bali and its culture and he was a great tour guide. Communication with David, the owner of the property, was always great before and during our stay. Many thanks for an unforgettable stay at New Majestic Villa in Bali!
