Residing in the heart of the Lower Garden District, this historic Greek Revival townhouse built in 1855 and located on famous Magazine Street is easy walking distance to award-winning restaurants, antique/vintage shopping, the National WWII Museum, Coliseum Square Park, Saint Vincent's Hotel, Race and Religious, Framework and Second Line Movie Studios. The St. Charles Streetcar line and the Convention Center are just a few blocks away. Less than 5 minutes to the French Quarter.
Beautiful antique furnished two floor historic space feels more like a private home. Comprising the second and third floors of the townhouse, it is luxuriously large. Historic architectural features including 12 ft ceilings, decorative elements, iron lace balcony overlooking Magazine Street, large doors, floor to ceiling windows, exposed brick and wood long plank floors. Historic and modern features comfortably incorporated throughout. Decorated with a combination of excellent period French and American antiques, original artwork and modern upholstered pieces.
Close to everything, take a stroll amid the crepe myrtles and Live Oak trees in this wonderful, eclectic neighborhood abundant in architectural treasures. Located on a less traveled area in the Lower Garden District and walkable to many great restaurants, coffee shops and parks.
All linens, glassware, comfortable upholstery, vintage furniture pieces, quality towels and linens and a washer and dryer access offer the comforts of your own home. A selection of coffee and tea are complimentary during your stay. Your on site host is always available to meet with you to share favorite foodie recommendations or suggestions for interesting and off the beaten path things to do in our city.
Free parking is available in front as well as on all side streets. Please ask about pets.

Great place to stay by everything, all the areas are easy to get to. Great location to street car, food and everything you need. The stairs are steep, it is an old building, it’s normal:) Beware to be careful if you’re tired, been drinking or older. Plenty of space, comfortable and beautiful touches. Highly recommend.

The check in process was clearly communicated in a timely manner. The host provided excellent recommendations at the time the property was booked. The townhouse was as described.
