The outdoor spaces are the true highlight of The BeeHive Bungalow. From a cushioned sofa to a shaded reading nook and an umbrella-covered dining table, the spacious deck is made for lounging, laughing, and living the good life. As the sun sets and the stars take over the sky, light up the fire pit and keep an eye out for the Milky Way—it’s truly something special.

- Important Home Information-

• This home does not have air conditioning, which is common for homes in our high-alpine area.
• This home requires 4WD or AWD and/or snow tires during the winter months.
• Winter driving conditions can occur anytime from October 1 through June 1.
• The home features a pellet stove for warmth and ambiance.
• Weather and road conditions can change rapidly in the mountains, so please plan accordingly.

-Winter Arrival-

Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains. Four-wheel-drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are typically well-plowed, many residential areas require traveling over steep hills and dirt roads that may not be maintained as frequently. Chain laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not recommend driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel-drive vehicle unless you are comfortable installing chains yourself.

-Property Policies-

• The minimum age requirement to rent this home is 21.
• A maximum of two dogs is permitted. No exceptions will be made, and private messages requesting exceptions will be declined.
• Smoking is not permitted.
• Parties and events are not permitted.
• Trash: To support wildlife safety and comply with town trash ordinances, all guest trash must be brought to the bear-proof Grand Mountain Rentals dumpster behind our office. Please plan for this disposal requirement during your stay. Thank you for helping protect our mountain community.
