Living room furniture was very dirty and the leather sofa was peeling so badly that if you sat down the peelings would get all over your clothes. The dining room table was so wobbly it seemed it would collapse at any time. The floors were so dirty your feet were completely black. Does not seem like it gets mopped very often.

I had originally rented the place for Fourth of July. Very last minute as our rental home was booked.. even more last minute ours canceled and Josie was gracious enough to allow our friends to stay there in lieu of us. I thought that was so kind of her to allow us to do that. I was told they thought it was very nice. Best of luck to you in the future.

Great place to relax and enjoy family time. Property was excellent. We would definitely return.

This is a great place for a family. The house has everything you need and was very clean and comfortable. There is an ice maker and water filter which we made use of. Pristine beaches with wild horses a short walk- or even shorter drive from your door. The house has a high lookout with a great view of the ocean. The listing makes it clear that we needed bottled water and a truck with 4 wheel drive so we came prepared and are now seasoned beach drivers. I’m glad we arrived early because it’s an hour round trip to the grocery store, and you don’t want to drive the beach at night when the tide comes in. Read up on beach driving if it’s new to you. This made the trip even more of a fun adventure for us though. We watched the sunrise on the beach and came back to wild horses grazing in the lawn behind the house. We flew kites, hunted ghost crabs and built sandcastles. Very memorable. Would love to come back someday.
