You can reach our great apartment in "Platges de Fornells" via a staircase (with handrail, approx. 15 steps).
You enter the apartment directly on the terrace and come into the spacious living room with dining area and open fireplace.
The apartment has a small functional fully equipped kitchen (fridge / freezer, stove with ceramic hob, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, etc.).
The two bedrooms - one of them with sea view - can be reached via 2 steps. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (1.50m), the other bedroom has two single beds.
The bathroom was renovated in the 2018 season and has a large walk-in shower with a glass front. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom.
You can use fans for the summer time and electric radiators for the cooler days in the transition periods.
Electricity, water, towels and bed linen in the apartment are provided once per stay and are therefore included in the price. The minimum stay is one week.
The final cleaning is a flat rate of € 95 and has to be paid separately, regardless of the length of stay.
The holiday complex "Platges de Fornells" is quiet and built in the Menorcan style. Shops (e.g. 2 supermarkets) and many restaurants are in the immediate vicinity and within walking distance.
The transfer time by car from / to the airport is about 25-30 minutes.
The charming little village of Fornells is 3 km away. Fornells lives from fishing for crawfish and crawfish and from tourism and is known for the fish soup "Caldereta de Llangosta" (even the Spanish king comes here!).
The sheltered Bay of Fornells offers ideal water sports for young and old - for the whole family.
The region is ideal as a starting point for excursions with a rental car and hiking tours.

We collect the Balearic Islands tourist tax of €2.20 (including VAT) per day and per person over the age of 16, which we simply pass on to the Spanish authorities. This is only listed as an ADDITIONAL FEE after the first payment and must therefore be added to the total price.

The apartment has a wonderful view on the bay, that you can enjoy both from the terrace and the double room. It's fully equipped to make the best of your time in Minorca (sun umbrella, toys for kids to play on the beach, ice packs if you want to pick-nic...). Also, everything you'll need to keep the apartment clean is provided. We very much enjoyed the pool - very silent and relaxing. We value also the location (easy to drive to many beaches as well as to the main cities of the island). Michael and Ute are very friendly and very quick replying to any message.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay. We struggled to find the apartment initially. It is almost opposite the signs for La Franola tapas bar, which is in the complex across the road. Parking in the spaces opposite was never a problem, there is on road parking there, and further along below the pool too. The whole area is quite hilly, but very peaceful and picturesque. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away, we found it unusual not to be able to get a drink or the loo whilst there though. One nearby restaurant opens from 1pm ish. Nearby complex facilities are for residents only. The supermarket is in the same area. The apartment itself is very cosy, very clean, and with everything you need. The WiFi is fast. The outside terrace is lovely with a sea view. The skies at night can be beautiful. Michael the owner was very attentive and returned messages immediately (I messed up my vrbo account! which caused several issues). He does prefer you to translate them to German via an app or Google Translate. We would highly recommend staying. The only negatives for us were the pillows were flat & lumpy, and the kettle could do with replacing.

We stayed 11 nights (a family of 4) in the apartment and were very happy. It was clean and had everything we needed. It has a small seating area in front with a sea view, with only one other apartment on the same level, so fairly private. The water pressure is occasionally a little low, but that applies to the whole area, so nothing can be done about that. When we had a small problem Michael was very quick to sort it out, and was very helpful. Would certainly stay there again.
