Über diese haus dieses Ferienunterkunft
Our house is beautifully situated on 3 acres, top of a hill in a clearing. Large covered porch faces east across a meadow towards the Green Mountain National Forest and the notch carved by the Mad Tom Brook. The other side of the house has peaceful views into the forest and beautiful rock outcroppings. The property has been in the family since the 1940's, however this house is new, built in 2011 with modern comforts. The house has four bedrooms, and 2 full baths.
Located one mile from Summer Festival equestrian event.

Our group loved our stay during the horse show and can’t wait to come back next year!

We had a very pleasant stay here with friends. The property has interesting boulders to play on and woods to explore, and there is a beautiful forest trail just a couple of hundred yards down the road. It's located on a quiet country road about a one-minute drive off Route 7 through the village of East Dorset (don't blink). The house is perched at the top of a steep driveway, and the walk from the driveway to the front door would be challenging for people with mobility issues. The house had everything we needed, with the exception of a modern gas grill (our fault for not reading closer... and the owners graciously offered us use of their charcoal weber when we reached out). All in all, a comfortable house in a beautiful part of Vermont.
