Edinburgh University and Edinburgh Art College are both within the immediate vicinity as are The McEwan Hall, George Square and the Fringe Festival. There is a large and varied range of shops, restaurants, bars and boutiques in Forrest Road and the adjacent streets including the The Greyfriar's Bobby, The Grassmarket and The Royal Mile. Both Princes Street and George Street, with their excellent shopping are within a short walk. There is an excellent bus service available just moments away ensuring fast and easy access around the City. Both Waverley and Haymarket Train Station are easily accessible either on foot or via bus (bus stop just outside).

The property, location, and host were all fantastic! Nikki was very kind and accommodating to us needing a last minute reservation, and she made sure the flat was in excellent condition when we arrived. The location ensured we could walk to almost ever key destination in Edinburgh. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly do so again!

We had a great stay - The listing mentions stairs, but should be clear, there are several flights of steep stairs to get to the apartment. This is not an easily accessible property for those with any kind of physical limitation.

The check-in process, communication with the property manager was overall great. The location is incredible. Also, the appliances worked great! I wish I read more closely that this property is up 6 flights of stairs - that is hard with an infant and a lot of luggage. The only down side is that the apartment is mostly carpet and it can get muggy. We would open the windows at night, but i would recommend keeping the windows open when it is not raining so that it is not stuffy inside the apartment.
