Activities in the area: The area is perfect for people who want to actively spend their holidays with hiking, mountain biking and water sports. The Zrmanja River is ideal for canoeing. The 400 meters of high cliffs, caves, caves and bizarre rock formations make this landscape a special nature experience. However, you will not only find an arid karst landscape here, because the steep rocky slopes are covered with closed and unusual pine forest because of the climate. Within the park there is a network of more than 150 km of hiking trails, which enable both short and multi-day hiking trips. The most popular walk takes about two hours and leads from the entrance to the park through the impressive Velika Paklenica gorge.
