A very nice studio apartment, located in the former synagogue, furnished with great attention to detail in the picturesque wine village of Homburg am Main, accommodating up to two people or two adults and one child. The vacation rental is located in the Unterort district, in the former synagogue, right on the Main River Bike Path. About 150 meters uphill, you’ll find Homburg Castle, a beautiful half-timbered building. The small town of Homburg offers quite a few restaurants and wine bars. Just a few kilometers away are the towns of Wertheim, with its castle, and Marktheidenfeld.
Homburg am Main is part of the municipality of Triefenstein and is—as the name suggests—situated on the beautiful Main River. The town is located between Marktheidenfeld (Bavaria) and Wertheim (Baden-Württemberg). The nearest highway exits are Marktheidenfeld and Lengfurt (A3).
The apartment where you’re staying used to be a store, and the store owner arranged the light switches to suit his needs. When you enter the apartment, you’ll find a floor lamp on the left that will help you get your bearings :-). In the bedroom, in the left-hand corner, there are two light switches—one for the outdoor lighting and one for the reading light by the bed. To the right of the white sofa bed are the light switches for the entire apartment. The hallway light in front of the bathroom is a motion-activated light.
