Comfortable home nestled among peaceful pine trees, offering the perfect blend of privacy and convenience. Located close to Assateague Island, it’s an ideal spot for biking to wildlife trails, the beach, and all the natural beauty the area has to offer.
Blue Heron 1 is a convenient one-level home with a layout that’s great for families and groups. Two bedrooms each feature a queen bed, while the third bedroom includes a set of bunk beds plus a twin with a trundle—plenty of sleeping space for everyone. A full bath and a half bath are both located off the hallway for easy access.
Unwind in the large screened porch, the perfect place to enjoy a quiet morning coffee or a breezy evening after exploring the island. A community kayak and canoe launch is also close by, making it easy to get out on the water and enjoy the surrounding coastal scenery.

Blue Heron was clean, quiet, comfortable and well supplied. The large screened in porch was a nice plus. It is not near immediate water though it’s very near to food and stores and not far from the beach. We will return!

The cottage was perfect for us!
Clean and cute and plenty of room to move around. The porch was excellent for having cousins visit and host a game night. The bedrooms were cosy and inviting.
