Escape to a cozy A-frame cabin in Norris Lake’s Big Creek area, perfect for relaxing getaways with family, friends, and even your furry companion! The Property:
Built in 1977, our A-frame cabin has been a cherished retreat for three generations of our family. Blending timeless rustic charm with thoughtful updates, it features original, locally sourced wood and stone from nearby Pine Mountain—offering an authentic Norris Lake experience you won’t find in typical rentals.
In 2017, we completed a major renovation based on guest feedback, adding modern comforts while preserving the cabin’s original character.

Cute little cottage on Norris Lake. Was everything we needed for a last minute getaway.

The cottage was very charming. The location was great and the weather was even better.
The deck and steps need a little attention. The one thing I wish for would be to thin the trees out so you could see more of the lake and especially between the cottage and the dock as you can’t see the dock from the cottage.

Great family cabin. Love seeing the family photos on the walls that were taken on the lake Cabin is clean, linens were provided with extra blankets and such. Bring beach towels as they do not have any at the house. AC works great as we were there on a week of 90* all week. Any kitchen item you need was in the cabinet. Extremely nice to have a washer and dryer right by the main level. A few notes for future renters: the stairs to the 2nd floor are very narrow (I’d recommend kids upstairs), the property is on a pointe so boats do cruise around the corner fast creating wake (our boat was fine but bring extra fenders to use), we brought a folding wagon to use to haul items up and down the hill to the boat dock (the walk up the hill is not bad, much preferred over 100+ steps).
