You are only 50 steps to the beach - This unit has it all! From the Lanai you can experience the unobstructed Oceanfront views of the ocean, coastline and Mt. Haleakala. You will love the trade winds that blow through this desirable south side location while whale watching from your own covered lanai. This is true tropical living by the ocean! Since you are right on the ocean, open the windows and trade winds keep you cool.
Menehune Shores is a quiet resort that includes its own beach, pool, roof top and pool side barbecue areas. Also, Kalekalepo Beach and the Whale Sanctuary are right next door and public tennis courts are within short walking distance.
The condo features ceramic tiled floors throughout, ceiling fans in every room, upgraded kitchen cabinets and appliances and a fully stocked kitchen. There are 2 queen size beds (1 in each bedroom)plus a Twin bed in the second bedroom and a double pull out couch in the living room. 2 TV’s, DVD player, Yamaha sound bar, washer and dryer. Dedicated Internet with WiFi. The complex offers elevators and roof top access for whale watching and has picnic tables.

Pros-ocean view and not completely in wind, washer and dryer (can only use liquid detergent), kitchen, big fridge (light doesn't work), air conditioner in bedrooms and living room, pretty quiet (quiet hrs are 10pm to 8am), next to elevator and has beach stuff to use. Cons- Mirrors and dust. There is a ceiling fan literally in every room even the bathrooms. With no exhaust fans. There is a mirror in every room except the kitchen. And a mirror wall in the living room. There is a huge build up of dust in the bathrooms. Definitely needs a deep clean top to bottom. And some upgrades. Basically asked not to use air conditioner on welcoming sign in unit. Slider in living room doesn't lock and moves back and forth with the wind shaking all the time. Had to put cardboard in between door and frame to stop the noise. Had to wear black socks otherwise your feet were black within 30 min. Condiments left in fridge completely filling both doors. I don't mind spices and foil etc but I think left over Condiments is gross. Hard to be quiet when you have squeaky furniture and beds with very heavy dining chairs.

Very well described. Very nice accommodations. There was some noise from guests at night but that doesn't reflect on the owners. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was excellent. Check in was easy. The pool is very nice. Rooms are comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need and more. View is nice of the beach and ocean. No complaints and couldn't be happier.

The fan in the master bedroom was filthy. No air conditioning in the master bedroom. The master closet was a storage closet that smelt like paint. Could not use it. The beds were comfortable. Close to ship wreck beach.
