Enjoy spectacular sunsets and private beach access from this waterfront cottage overlooking Casco Bay. This charming cottage is full of character and offers a comfortable living space, kitchen with all the necessities, three bedrooms, and washer/dryer. Enjoy expansive water views while sipping on your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail from the upper and lower decks. The pebbly beach below is ideal for sunning, swimming, exploring tide pools and canoeing/kayaking.
Inside the cottage, you'll find a galley kitchen with all you need to cook a delicious Maine meal, a dining room table for 6, and a living room with cable TV that opens to the multi-level decks. Upstairs you'll find a full bathroom with shower/tub combo and a single sink, a bedroom with a queen, a bedroom with a queen and twin bunkbed, and a master bedroom with a king and ocean views. The washer and dryer are located in the basement area.
Use this lovely, comfortable cottage as your home base while you discover the peace and quiet of Casco Bay's rocky shoreline, picturesque coves and nature at its most glorious. Then come back to spend relaxing evenings, starting with spectacular sunsets from your own little slice of Maine's coastal heaven!

The vacation rental was very clean.

First of all, MaineStay Vacations was a delight to work with. They kept checking in on us, gave us great tips and suggestions. I love the digital packet they sent. A+ and we will definitely be using them for our next trip to Maine.You cannot beat the view. You cannot beat the location. What an easy vacation for our group of friends. The kids just ran on the beach and we could watch from the deck. Two totally different experiences, when the tide was out versus in. Brought floats and relaxed in the surprisingly not frigid water all day. We rented kayaks and they were delivered. Lots of fun exploring the cove. It was really picture perfect.Every day we were treated with a beautiful sunset. Dinner outside every night. We had the perfect celebration for the 250th! Fireworks right from our beach, a great group of neighbors with sparklers for all of the kids, a fire on the beach. We could see 6 different fireworks shows from our deck.The house needs major work. Bathrooms in particular. Not what we expected from the photos. But we just rolled with it and the view more than made up for it. We were outdoors all day and the open dining and living space was a great setting for board games, movies and hanging out as a group.

This place was the perfect spot for our long weekend in Maine! We had a group of 6 adults and two small children and everyone in the group was enthralled with the breathtaking view from the property. It’s the most scenic spot I’ve ever stayed at. All 8 of us slept comfortably in the 3 bedrooms and my young kids especially loved the bunk bed. I wish we had planned to spend more time at the house and not out and about in Maine but we had a wonderful trip. The only slight criticism I have is maybe better communication about the parking situation/location around the house but besides that it was a perfect trip. The house is on well water which was fine with us since we had drinking water we brought but something to consider as well. Overall I can’t stress enough how great the view, deck, and beach access was at this location. I very much hope to stay here again one day.

We loved the house, it is exactly as described. The views are incredible and our kids loved going down to the water at low tide. We have been coming to Harpswell for years - it is such a magical place! We had an issue where the washing machine ruined some of our clothes and would have liked a heads up that it could have happened, but other than that we had no issues.

We had a wonderful time. Had a couple issues though. Upstairs bathroom smelled, found the tub mat thrown in the closet two days later which was the problem of the stench. Also queen size bed in room next to bathroom was found to have a broken frame. Sofas need to be replaced, were very uncomfortable and outdated
