Located within 20 minutes from the Sydney CBD and Sydney Airport, Lewisham is ideally located for visitors seeking suburban tranquillity and inner-city convenience. The suburb has light-rail and subway stations, along with neighbouring restaurant and cafe strips along New Canterbury Road. Lewisham borders the Hawthorne Canal, which runs through the leafy Cadigal Reserve.

The Lewisham train station is about 850 metres away and has regular trains into the Sydney CBD in around 15 minutes. The Lewisham West light-rail station is 900 metres away and has services to the Sydney CBD in 30 minutes. There are also bus stops along New Canterbury Road with multiple lines servicing the CBD and surrounding suburbs.



Ride sharing

Ride sharing apps are a safe and easy way to get around, especially late at night when public transport services are less frequent. Prices are about two-thirds of a taxi, but may surge during bad weather or public events.
