It's like staying at one of the Old World Wisconsin houses. We were there in December at -6º an the cabin stayed warm and cozy. Being able to hike all the trails from the front door was great. Fridge is tiny, so be aware on how much food you bring. Overall, great experience.

Beautiful, peaceful, interesting, and lovely location and property. Lots of birds and deer. Nice trails. Cabin was quiet, quaint, and private. Visitor Center staff were kind, engaged, and knowledable. Neat displays and information. Enjoyed learning about Norwegian heritage and history. Property manager provided great communication. Signage to property was also helpful. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely visit again.
