We had a wonderful stay. The host was friendly and welcoming, and kindly provided wood for the fire. We loved that it was dog-friendly, and the fresh eggs from the chickens were a fantastic breakfast treat. The place was clean, cozy, warm, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to stay with a dog, with plenty of space to run around, all fully fenced. Loved the outdoor area where I spent hours writing, having coffee and listening to the birds. The hosts told us how to walk to the local lake, and we loved it. Great place to explore Bendigo, with the city centre only ten minutes drive away. We enjoyed lots of food left for us by the hosts, including delicious eggs from the local chooks. Would love to be back.

The demountable ‘cottage’ was very well appointed with quality products. Breakfast items provided. Liked the fence for our dog. Host wasn’t home to meet us when we arrived around 4pm. Their dog barked from then till at least midnight. we were trying to get an early night for an early start next day and I felt sorry for the poor dog. Easy 9 min walk to Huntly Hotel, good food.
