The Space:

Old-school character meets modern comfort at Dune Haven, a spacious two-bedroom, two-bath loft inside South Haven’s thoughtfully renovated historic Central School.



Originally built in 1913, the building retains some of its best architectural details. Inside the loft, soaring 16-foot ceilings, exposed brick, original hardwood floors and 12 oversized windows create a bright, open space with loads of character.



The private primary bedroom features a king bed and ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom offers a queen bed. A pull-out chair in the living room provides sleeping space for one additional guest. Dune Haven is best suited for groups of up to 5 who want comfortable sleeping accommodations. The property’s rental certificate permits a maximum occupancy of 6, but please note that sleeping accommodations are provided for 5.



The well-appointed kitchen and open living area make it easy to settle in after a day at the beach, whether you're grabbing takeout downtown, cooking dinner together or heading outside to use the community grills.



And the location is hard to beat. Dune Haven puts you within easy walking distance of downtown South Haven, the farmers market, marina, shops and restaurants. South Beach is approximately .9 miles away.



Guests also have access to Central Lofts' exceptional shared amenities, including an indoor pool and hot tub, fitness room, private movie theater, outdoor patio and dining areas, gas grills and a large community fire pit.



From Lake Michigan sunsets and beach days to hiking trails, farm-to-table dining, wineries, breweries and everything happening downtown, Dune Haven makes a comfortable home base for exploring South Haven and West Michigan.

We're available in person Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, to assist guests in planning their South Haven vacation and providing insider tips for an authentic local experience.

Before your arrival, you will receive all pertinent check-in information communicated via email and mobile SMS messaging, as well as a local destination guide with our personal recommendations on local eats and activities in the area.



We provide an after-hours emergency phone number in case an issue arises outside of our standard business hours. Additionally, we provide you with a mobile SMS number that you can text for non-emergency issues.
