Lots of improvements summer of 2023! Road to the cabin is paved, underground electrical lines, 3 acres of forest has been trimmed and cleaned and house updates! Kitchen has new cabinets and is expanded into the sunroom which looks out to the private 2 acres of the Black Hills and a huge deck.
Nine bedrooms, three of them have attached bathrooms, sleeping loft, two nonconforming bedrooms, 2 family rooms, two kitchens, four full bathrooms, 2 half baths. Four bedrooms on main floor with new flooring, first bedroom has king size bed and futon bed, second has king, third queen bed, fourth is master with king bed and a bunk with a full and single. Loft has king bed and day bed, downstairs has 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms which include king beds, one has a futon also. Half bath by nonconforming bedrooms.
Downstairs has two masters with king size beds, two nonconforming rooms with futon beds.
Sleeping loft has a king and two singles.
Main floor offers a very large living and dining area that has a rocked wood fireplace open to the kitchen. The sunroom is off the kitchen which offers an outstanding view of the two acres of the woods. Three acres total with a large lot to park your trailers and large driveway for all your vehicles, also a three car garage! The back deck has plenty of room for a large group and plenty of room for kids to play. There are no hills to worry about on the property! There is also a covered porch on the front of the cabin.
Downstairs has a second kitchen that is open to a large, open family room with pool table and foosball. Lots of room for kids to play!
Deadwood is 8 minutes away, Terry Peak is 10 minutes away, Mt. Rushmore is 20 minutes and Spearfish Canyon is 5 minutes away. You can ride to and from the trails that are 1 mile away.

We enjoyed our stay overall and appreciated the property’s size and potential. A few maintenance updates could make the experience even better for future guests: The Host was kind and helpful with our needs during our stay. Some deck chairs were damaged and could use replacement.Simplifying outdoor and indoor furnishings may be better than keeping items that are no longer in working condition.The propane tank was empty when we arrived, so we left a full one to help the next guests.The coffee pot could use a thorough cleaning, and the toaster was not functioning during our stay.The fireplace was not useable at the time we stayed as the ash duct was full ind needed empty.We know maintaining a large property can be challenging, and we hope these observations are helpful. With a few updates and repairs, this could be an even more enjoyable place for future visitors.

The place was described perfectly. The large living area was perfect for all of us. The large kitchen area and extra dining area was perfect. There was a hot tub but didn’t have time to really use it we were gone during most of the day. And the basement was perfect to play pool and games. The garage is huge so easy to play bags or spike ball which was so fun at night.I would hire a new cleaning crew, that was probably the hardest. Broken light on night stand with the glass pieces in the drawer, that the host knew was there that was very dangerous with kids around, the carcass of a mouse that had disintegrated in a closet (might have been there awhile) refrigerator, and freezer dirty scrub them out before we put our food in there. These were actually quick fixes . We had problems with the washer but grok (A1) walked us through a hard reset. When we called the host she seamed a little upset with us , I’m going with the assumption we got cut off. When we called back no answer. The place is fantastic. And my kids and grandkids loved the place. We definitely left the place cleaner than when we found it but honestly very minor stuff. One suggestion I would stock it with more small appliances, baking pan to make brownies more serving spoons, blender, better crockpot and larger cooking pan. We brought our blackstone so that helped

When we arrived we had to scoop snow before even being able to unload our belongings. The house was very dusty and multiple lightbulbs were out. The house has a lot potential if better cared for.
