Located in the heart of Muskoka. This cottage has everything that a legendary Muskoka cottage demands and more.
Designed with the old Muskoka style and incorporating in every modern amenity possible; this cottage has it all.
Being only steps from beautiful Lake Muskoka, this cottage is a pleasure to be in whether it is Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall.
The cottage is 3250 sq .ft., 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, 140 feet of beautiful shallow sandy beach frontage with approximately 200 feet of undeveloped government property neighboring to the south. There is a 70 foot 850 sq ft dock; that can easily park four 30 foot boats. The cottage is fully equipped with internet, washer/dryer, full entertainment system including a 60 inch LCD in loft, 20 inch LCD in kitchen, 37 inch LCD in Master, complete multi zone home audio system (self-controlled speakers in all main rooms), steam shower, pool table, hot tub, Muskoka granite fireplace, stainless steel BBQ, car parking for 5 cars easily. The cottage is 10 minutes from both Bala and Port Carling (by boat and car) and close to Mortimers Marina.
Built from Insulated Concrete Forming and Douglas Fir Timbers, the cottage is both architecturally strong & unique. The cottage is heated in the winter with in -floor heating. Making it an amazing winter get away. Full Generac back up power system.
Because of the techniques used in the construction; the cottage is warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Again, a pleasure to be in regardless of the season.
Note: The cottage is available for a 2 night minimum rental term from October - May. Long weekends are a 3 night minimum rental term. Christmas & New Years holidays are 5 night minimum rental term.
June, July, August & September are available for a minimum one week rental term.

We had such a great stay at this cottage. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 kids, and it was the perfect setup for all of us.The location was excellent, and we loved having Mortimer’s Point Marina right across the road. The smoothies and ice cream were a huge hit with the kids and became a fun little outing during our stay. The cottage had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked, and having laundry on-site was a lifesaver. The extra fridge and freezer gave us tons of room for groceries. The outdoor space is what really made this place special. The kids spent hours in the water, and the lily pad was an awesome addition. We also loved the sauna, hot tub, and outdoor shower. In the evenings, we enjoyed the dock in the Muskoka chairs around the fire table. Only the primary bedroom has air conditioning, but honestly, it wasn’t an issue. Every bedroom had both a ceiling fan and a tower fan, and even during the hot July weather we all slept comfortably.We needed an extra air mattress upon arrival and one was brought over within an hour. That level of responsiveness was really appreciated. If I had a couple of suggestions, they’d simply be to add a second umbrella on the dock for a bit more shade and maybe a kayak or paddleboard, as the shallow entry into the lake is perfect for both. Overall, we’d happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!
