We had a wonderful time at this home that was cozy yet spacious enough for our large family! It has beautiful views and is an excellent location with a short walk to the gorgeous secluded shoreline. The host was super helpful and responsive. Though some upkeep and maintenance is needed because of the age of the home, it was reasonably priced and perfect for the beach getaway we were looking for! Might I add, the sunset views were priceless!

Location is great. But maintenance is badly needed. There are some real safety hazards unfortunately. The tv in the main living room is mounted in probably the most unsafe way I’ve ever seen. (Screws *through* the small plastic feet that come with tv is what is preventing it from crashing onto someone’s head. God forbid a small child. The metal grills in the gas oven don’t fit that appliance, so if you place food on it, it will fall into the oven. Please make sure there’s no oil in whatever pot/pan you’re using. We’d planned/hoped to do most of our cooking outside. But we couldn’t. The outdoor grill is gas/propane and I assume you’d have to bring/buy your own tank because the one that was there when we stayed was rusted and empty. Why there isn’t a simple charcoal grill back there is one of the dozen mysteries we pondered throughout our stay. Some of the tables, including the main dining table are unstable, using improper screws and not the right amount of screws. Look, we didn’t expect a luxury stay. It was a last minute Memorial Day Weekend booking because of a family issue that required us to stay closer to home. But the lack of care goes a bit too far when you’re concerned about the safety of the kids in the house. The property itself has a ton of potential. A ton. But in its current state, it’s not a good option for families with kids.

Many areas need updating such as the deck, kitchen cabinets need repairs, grill dirty and floors were dirty, mold in the bathrooms. No outside hose as indicated and outside water access not turned on.
