With capacity for 6 guests, San Martin Mirador features 3 floors, a 30-foot swimming pool with plenty of lounge chairs, air conditioning in all 3 bedrooms, a large kitchen and, best of all, an incredible third-floor hangout area with full ocean views and bar. There is also wireless Internet to keep you and your guests plugged into the rest of the non-tropical world.
From the top floor of the villa, visitors can play cards, shoot the breeze, sip on drinks and enjoy picturesque sightlines of the ocean just below. There are direct views of Cano Island and the mesmerizing Osa Peninsula from this area, and it isn't uncommon, at the right time of year, to see migrating whales from the upstairs room. Other common visitors to the property include monkeys, toucans, pizotes, butterflies and frogs.
All 3 bedrooms are located on the second floor of the house. Each room features an on-suite bathroom and air conditioning. Two of the bedrooms have king beds and the third room features a queen mattress. The full-equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, coffee pot, blender and plenty of cooking gear, is also located on the middle floor. This is also a great place to sit back and relax while catching movies or sitcoms on the large, flat-screen television in the living room.
Down below, on the ground-level floor, is a washer and dryer unit as well as an additional restroom.
San Martin Mirador is located between the towns of Domincal and Uvita. From the coastal highway, it takes about 5 minutes to reach the property. The nearest beach is just down the road and is wide open to visitors. There's a great chance you could stroll out to this beach at any time and have the entire place to yourself. We arrived in Dominical very late. Check-in was very easy with Steve. The property is located in a jungle-ish. Getting from the road to the property definitely requires a four-wheel-drive. The main area is open and each bedroom has his own air-conditioning. When we got to the property, it had a weird smell no from the drainage but fortunately, dissipated quickly. The property is super clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens. The patio and pool areas are furnished with many seatings. We had a very nice time and will definitely come back.

Wonderful family vacation - we sll enjoyed our stay at this stunning place overlooking the ocean. A special treat for our 50th anniversary. The staff were great in providing information and responding to our questions in a timely manner. Loved it!!!

We had an amazing Christmas in this beautiful house! We’ve stayed in a lot of rental houses and this house was by far the best one yet! The views were breathtaking! The location was perfect- close to Uvita and Dominical but secluded enough to have privacy. You definitely need a 4-wheel drive to get up to the house! The house was very clean and had all of the amenities needed. We spent a few days at the house just relaxing by the pool and cooking our own meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. We were lucky enough to be visited by the monkeys on several occasions. This was our first visit to Costa Rica and we absolutely fell in love with the country. There is so much to do and the people are very friendly. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.
