THE COTTAGE
KITCHEN – Cute eat-in kitchen fully stocked with dish sets, cooking utensils, mugs, cups, flatware and pots & pans, appliances: stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, 12-cup coffee maker & filters, toaster, blender, large double sink, and dining table with seating for 6.
LIVING ROOM - Cozy living room provides a great gathering place with a TV with cable and DVD player, comfortable seating, and gas fireplace.
PORCH - Large, gated wrap-around porch with gas grill, lots of comfortable seating, outdoor dining, ceiling fans & overhead lights.
BEDROOMS: Pillows and blankets are provided. Guests will need to bring bed sheets and bath towels.
Bedroom 1: 2nd floor Master bedroom with double size bed
Bedroom 2: 2nd floor bedroom with double size bed & private balcony
Bedroom 3: 2nd floor bedroom with double size bed & single bed

The owners were great and the house is a bit of a museum with antiques throughout the house. It was hot when we arrived, but the fans and two air conditioners cooled the house quickly. The porch was lovely to sit on and be with family. Be aware, Mount Gretna has quiet hours that were strictly enforced by the neighbors. We were talking on the porch and laughing (nothing we thought was egregious) and a neighbor, very creepily, stood on the path in front of the house and informed us it was 11:15 on a Saturday and that we were being loud and if we didn't get quiet that we would see what happens. We took that as a threat and went inside. I don't blame the owner... it may be a Mount Gretna thing?

The cabin was beautiful and very charming. We had an incredible time and were so happy to have found such a wonderful cabin to stay for the weekend. We have stayed in similar cabins over the years but this was by far the nicest. 5 Stars all around. We hope to stay again in the future.

Stayed here for 2 nights while attending a concert at Hershey stadium. We were searching for something cheaper than the event inflated nearby hotels and this fit the bill. The biggest issue we had was the musty smell. It was overwhelming even after opening all the windows. Other things to be aware of are very narrow steps to go upstairs, very dim lighting inside and a tiny shower unit. Communication was great and the wifi worked well. As others have mentioned check-in is best during daylight. We arrived after dark and it took us a bit to find the house. Mostly because we didn’t understand the nature of the community. Some of the ‘streets’ are pedestrian lanes.
