Are you ready for a relaxing oceanfront vacation in the heart of Kill Devil Hills? This lovely beachfront home is perfect for making memories on the Outer Banks. There is a walkway that takes you right to the ocean! Spend hours on the second-level deck watching and listening to the waves crash along the shore.
Upon entering the property, the nautically designed living space will instantly make you feel at home. The second level contains the living area with a light and airy feel as well as an amazing view of the ocean. Enjoy the bar stool seating while you visit the chef cooking in the full kitchen also on this level. The dining area seats six and again, there is a great view of the ocean.
Grab your coffee in the morning and step outside on the large deck to catch an amazing Outer Banks sunrise. For the late-nighters of the group, they may want to stay in the Queen bedroom on this level. For convenience, there is a full bathroom here as well.
Venturing up the unique staircase to the third level, you will find another Queen Bedroom, a bedroom with 2 Twin Beds, and a bedroom with 2 Queen Beds. The room with the 2 Queen Beds has access to a private third-level deck with ocean views. There is another full bathroom up here as well. The group will find an ample amount of space at Summer Days to stay comfortably.
After a day at the beach, use the enclosed outdoor shower on the first level to wash the sand off. Throw your towels into the washer and dryer also on this level.
This vacation rental is conveniently located near restaurants, shops, and activities. You can even see the Wright Brothers Memorial from the house!
For those who want to vacation with other family and/or friends, be sure to check out Summer Nights, the sister house on the same side of the street as Summer Days! There is plenty of parking to include boats and trailers!
Summer Days is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a small one-time fee of $185, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.
Village Beach Club
Guests of our home enjoy access to the exclusive Village Beach Club, a premier oceanfront retreat in the heart of Nags Head, just 7 miles from Summer Days.
This private club offers a large oceanfront pool, kiddie pool, parking, and direct beach access with showers and changing facilities, making it easy to go from sand to poolside in mere minutes. Enjoy events and activities for all ages such as kids' camps, daily live music and entertainment, a wellness and recreation program, and six brand new pickleball courts! Also new for 2026 is Gather, a coastal restaurant and bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's the ideal spot to unwind for a day on the Outer Banks.
Access to the pool and beach is free. Parking passes are required for the Village Beach Club. Pricing is dynamic based on demand, with a maximum of $15 per day or $45 per week. The Village Beach Club pool is open from May 20 to October 1. The pool is open daily from 8:00am to 7:00pm with lap swimming available from 8:00am to 9:00am. This free promotion applies to 2026 reservations only.
There are 4 parking spots for guests.
Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.

The house was very good, a little outdated, but clean. We enjoyed our stay there. Proximity is very close to the beach. You do have to climb over a sand dune so if you are in anyway mobility challenged, it might be a struggle. We had a very windy week, but we were very close to all the attractions, directly across from the Wright brothers memorial which we visited, and did lots of touring and shopping and eating great seafood.

Overall, the location was excellent and the view of the ocean was spectacular. We had trouble with the TV on the first night due to a missing remote and on the second night the carbon monoxide detector went off at 11 pm and had to get hold of management after hours. Other than that, property fairly well maintained but a little smaller than photos suggested. Upstairs shower was too small for even my 5ft 2 inch wife.Nice master bed room though. Overall, however we managed to have a nice time.

The check in process was super easy! Kitchen facilities were sufficient and bedrooms were spacious! The only complaint is the "master" had double beds and therefore had tp be used for children instead of adults!

The first thing we noticed is the smoke detector was down and just sitting on counter. Overall cleanness was fair there was some dust and few strands hair on back of toilet and shower in bathroom. Floors were good no sand. After about day 2 I pulled back comforter because it was too hot and saw they didn’t wash them the underneath was filthy with body fluids. I took down to wash it. That upset me because they should be washed after every stay. With what you pay for cleaning that is bad. I also took pictures of this. It was also bad weather but that’s not anyone’s fault so we stayed in a lot. Also told property management that the only working Roku box was living room. All bedroom boxes didn’t work so no tv in there.
