We went for spring break for the 18 year olds, the resort area was extremely safe, security at all hours was visible. The area around the resort is also really safe too; Changos, Banditos, and markets were fun. If you are looking for a México experience the resorts are like a little America in a lot of ways, and would not recommend if you are looking for some adventure. That being said- it’s a perfect place to lounge in the sun, swim, and be in the ocean.
The room is great with functional kitchen, restaurants are limited so recommend bringing food with. Beds are hard but comfortable.
