* The apartment is on Rue Saint-Denis, a very busy central street. In the evening and at night, the street stays busy, with a party crowd and prostitution-related activity: the atmosphere can feel unsettling. If you are travelling with children or looking for a residential area, please take this into account.
* Sound insulation is poor: noise from the street, the neighbours and the stairwell can be heard in the apartment, especially in the evening and at night. This may bother light sleepers.
* With 30 m² (323 sq ft), the apartment is ideal for two. With four guests, two sleep on the double sofa bed in the living room and space becomes tight. In the bedroom, the double bed is fitted between the walls, which may bother tall guests or anyone who feels cramped in an enclosed space.
* The apartment is on the 1st floor with no lift. You reach it through a very narrow ground-floor corridor and then the stairs: with large suitcases or a pushchair, getting through is awkward.
We wanted to be fully transparent with you, so that your stay truly matches your expectations.
On the plus side, you will be right in the centre, in the 2nd arrondissement, a 4-minute walk from Réaumur-Sébastopol and Étienne Marcel metro stations and within walking distance of the Louvre and Notre-Dame, with an equipped kitchen and a washing machine.
The apartment is entirely at your disposal, you have access to the whole property.
Arrival is autonomous thanks to a 24/7 arrival guide.
However, if you arrive after 11 p.m., it is crucial that you read and carefully follow the self-guided arrival guide provided. This will ensure trouble-free access to the property and avoid any inconvenience during check-in. Please note that after 11pm, we will not be able to respond to your requests or assist you if necessary. We cannot be held responsible for any misunderstanding on the part of the guide.

The place was clean and was prepared for 3 people just as I had asked. The fans available came in handy for the warm weather. Easy to access and wifi worked well. It was handy having a washer machine.

We had a great time here. 2 adults and a teen. The flat had all necessary conveniences and was clean and comfortable. Do not be fooled by the stairs leading to it. Rue St-Denis is an excellent launchpad for walking around arrondissements 1 thru 4. Very enjoyable.

If you are young, a foodie and want to experience the night scene of Paris, then this is a wonderful location. If you are a family with young children, then you may want to find a quieter location. This little apartment faces a busy street with cafes and brasseries where locals and tourists like to hangout during the evening. Thus it can get quite noisy at night time with lots of cigarette smokes if you open the balcony doors at night. This little apartment needs a little bit of TLC. The futon in the bedroom is nice and firm. The sofa bed is a bit uncomfortable.The apartment was clean and tidy upon arrival with everything you need for a short stay. Communication/ instructions about how to enter the apartment were efficient and easy to follow.Other than some repairs, it is in a great location, with easy access to metro Lines 4, 8, 9, close to Gare de l'Est, Gare du Nord, and Chatelet les Halles. It is walking distance to many fantastic eateries, such as Brasserie Dubillot (a lineup every night), Boulangerie du Sentier (a friendly local boulangerie), Frenchie (1 Michelin star restaurant), Comptoir del Gastronomie, Rue Montorgueil, Passages, Rue St-Denis, Song Heng (Pho - lineup everyday), les enfants du marche (one of the places that Anthony Bourdain visited), Dunes Blanches, just to name a few. As it is in 2nd Arr., you can almost walk to many attractions such as Musee du Louvre, Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, le Centre Pompidou, Bourse de Commerce, the Latin Quarters.
