Important Information – Please Read Before Booking!!

We want all our guests to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and setting the right expectations is key! Our home offers a cozy and authentic local experience, but it is not a luxury resort. Please keep the following in mind before booking:

Weather & Utilities: Puerto Rico is a tropical island, and occasional power or water interruptions can happen. We do our best to address issues quickly, but some repairs—such as water heaters or electrical work—may take longer due to local supply and service timelines.

Hot Water: The home is equipped with a solar water heater, which may provide varying temperatures depending on sunlight availability. If consistent high-temperature hot water is essential for your stay, please consider this before booking.

Cleaning & Maintenance: The property is cleaned before each guest's arrival, but it is not a 5-star hotel with daily housekeeping. Minor imperfections (such as dust in less frequently used areas or naturally occurring insects in outdoor spaces) may be present. If you are highly particular about spotless conditions, this might not be the best fit for you.

Furnishings & Amenities: The home is equipped with essential comforts, but not every convenience found in high-end accommodations. For example, extra blankets are provided seasonally, and certain items (such as high-end portable cribs) may not be guaranteed.

Pricing & Expectations: Our listing offers excellent value in a sought-after location. However, guests should expect a welcoming and well-maintained home—not a resort experience with 24/7 concierge service.

Guest Conduct: We welcome respectful guests who appreciate a home-sharing experience. If your primary intent is to seek discounts, escalate minor inconveniences, or create an issue to request a refund, this may not be the right accommodation for you.

By booking, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these details, and you agree to enjoy the home as it is offered. We’re always happy to assist with reasonable requests and ensure you have a pleasant stay!
