The house and the location were good. We were a bit disappointed to discover there was a TV but no antenna or cable service. We tried steaming via wifi but the TV didn't seem to find the router very well. We finally just gave up on it. The second disappointment was that there is no air conditioning. There was a hotel-type heat pump, with a note on it to not use it. We had a few days in the 90's and could have really used some form of cooling. A water cooler (swamp cooler) would work well and be cost-effective. There was also no dishwasher. It wasn't a big problem but it would have been nice. There was a non-functioning propane BBQ out back, but it looked like it hadn't been used or cleaned in years. It would have been nice to do some grilling outside on the warmer days, instead of cooking inside and adding heat to the house.

I would stay again.

This cabin was perfect for a relaxing long weekend for 2 couples. Clean and easy to find, close to everything we needed. The only suggestions I'd offer are cushions for the kitchen table chairs as they were not very comfortable and the horse shoe pit area could have been cleaned.

The kitchen was well equipted and it was very cozy and comfortable. Will try to stay there again when I’m in Globe.
