Über diese apartment dieses Ferienunterkunft
Bufalini Apartments boast such an incredible location, close to the Duomo, the Accademia Gallery, and all the city’s highlights, with shops, restaurants, and bars all around. In other words, you’re right in the middle of the action, with everything at your fingertips!!
The complex, renovated in 2011, includes five apartments: Tiziano, Giotto, Raffaello, Michelangelo, and Leonardo.
The “Leonardo” apartment is located on the first floor of the building and can be reached by climbing two flights of stairs.
Reserved for non-smoking guests, it is very quiet, as it overlooks an internal courtyard. It consists of a large living room/kitchen; from there, by climbing five steps, you reach the main bedroom and the bathroom with a shower stall (Jacuzzi shower), for a total of about 60 square meters. It accommodates up to 4 people—two in the bedroom and two on the sofa in the living room, which converts into a double bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, sink, dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, toaster, and kettle, while the washing machine is located in the bathroom.
It goes without saying that the unit is fully air-conditioned (heating and cooling) and has free Wi-Fi.
As already mentioned, Bufalini Apartments’ greatest strength lies in its location, right in downtown Florence, with all the highlights just a few steps away—which makes it not only a great base for exploring the city but also a convenient spot for relaxing between museum visits and church tours, or for dropping off your shopping before enjoying a drink or a gelato in one of the city’s piazzas.
All around you’ll find several restaurants and pizzerias, as well as pubs and bars where you can enjoy a drink and/or some nightlife, to make the most of your Florentine experience. Even the Central Market, with its vast selection of food and wine, is nearby. And two supermarkets are just around the corner, if you prefer to cook your own meals.
Thanks to its central location, it’s generally not necessary to use public transportation to visit the city and its monuments, as they’re all within walking distance. Furthermore, Piazza San Marco is the terminus of the tram (line T2) that goes directly to the train station and the airport, while from Piazza Libertà, many bus lines run to Fiesole, Settignano, and Piazzale Michelangelo.
