Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at this lake house! The hosts provided excellent communication before, during, and after our stay. They went out of their way to provide us with information regarding boat rentals and fishing charters that helped us get the most out of our visit to Smith Mountain Lake. The house itself is beautifully decorated and very warm and inviting. We were very impressed with how the hosts have thought through and planned for everything guests might need to make their vacation seamless and enjoyable. In the kitchen we had everything we could possibly need to prepare meals. Also, it was so nice having firewood provided so we could enjoy family time around the firepit roasting marshmallows and eating s'mores. During the day we especially loved the two person kayak and paddleboards as well as the unique inflatables they made available to us. We shared quiet moments in the peaceful sunroom and looked forward to our family dinners outside on the beautiful patio overlooking the lake. During the vacation our family made many special memories which will last a lifetime. We can't wait to come again!

First, the owners, Kurt and Nancy were very responsive to our questions even before we got to the property, and helpful in every way.The house was tastefully appointed with all the necessary goods needed to make the stay comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed.Overall, there is nothing we would have changed.

Our family enjoyed our fall lake getaway! Property was beautifully decorated with excellent attention to detail. We enjoyed the bottle of wine while cooking dinner and overlooking sunset on the lake. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to visit again to enjoy the beauty during the warmer weather! don’t hesitate- book here!
