Experience hobby farm life on the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee! Enjoy waking up in our 650sq ft, open floor plan cottage with a wood burning flame view stove, on our homestead with a large private Mountain Lake and 77 wooded acres to hike and enjoy! We have seasonal flowers such as daffodils, peonies, lavender, dahlias and more. We also have on the farm a variety of Farm Animals (chickens, turkeys, peacocks, geese, horses, dogs, cats and 1 pig) and (visiting wildlife) that love interacting with visitors. We consider our place a nature oasis of sorts, in contrast to some portions of the region,
Our private lake is available for catch and release fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking. There is a propane grill for your use.
Other nearby sites include historic Chattanooga, Tennessee Aquarium, beautiful Rock City Gardens and Ruby Falls attractions along with several local state parks with waterfalls at Fall Creek Falls , Savage Gulf and Rock Island State Parks for further Tennessee exploration. Please be aware that security cameras do monitor the adjacent exterior perimeter of the cabin.

The cabin was clean and cozy! We loved the view of the pond from the front porch and meeting there dogs! Kim was very good when I communicated with her and Joel was so friendly when we met. It was a calm and restful visit.

Such a cute set up for a private getaway! We passed the owners one time on the way to their barn, which is by the cabin, but other than that, it was just us and their friendly farm animals. It was close to Fall Creek Falls and Savage Gulf State Park for awesome hiking and close enough to downtown Dunlap for stores and restaurants. We were really able to unwind and enjoy our stay!

The property is just what we were looking for in a place to privately enjoy the water and have a quiet respite. Perfect for a short stay, close to our home without the stress of being too close to home. The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated.
