Situated in one of the newest developments in the Punta Mita resort community, Casa Aurora Tau is a magnificent, well-appointed 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath condo. Aurora means "dawn" in Spanish and the inspiration for TAU Residences comes from the indigenous Huichol language, "TAU" meaning sun. The sunrises and sunsets accessed from this contemporary condo are nothing short of spectacular. Located at the very tip of the Punta Mita peninsula, this community is surrounded by sea with easy access to the resort amenities, beach clubs, golf courses, St. Regis and the TAU community center equipped with a free gym, lap pool, BBQ area and game room.

"Casa Aurora Tau" is located on the third floor of a 5-story, 7-unit building (2 units per floor). TAU residences are the newest condos in Punta Mita with just 42 residences.
Please note there is a Ring doorbell with recording device at entry. There are no cameras in the unit's interior or terrace.
**Punta Mita resort has some construction projects throughout the resort and you may hear some noise between 8 am and 6 pm**

Please note that effective January 6, 2026, the Punta Mita Resort is eliminating minimum food and beverage consumption fees at the beach clubs, but is instituting a one-time resort access fee for each stay, based on occupancy of each vacation rental.
- Adults & Teens (13+): USD$50 per adult/teen +16% VAT +15% service charge (TOTAL: USD$66.70)
- Children 5-12: USD$30 per child +16% VAT +15% service charge (TOTAL: USD$40.02)
- Under 5 - no charge
These fees are collected outside of the booking process and paid directly to the Punta Mita Resort in advance of arrival. Our concierge will help facilitate access and payments in advance.

The full experience was top notch from scheduling the property to leaving for the airport. Dawn and her team take care of everything!! The house and pool are amazing. Can't beat the views. Also, the beds are very comfortable!!

TLDR: This was our 4th visit to Punta Mita and this was the best place we have rented. New, beautiful unit, two carts, private gym for this condo group. Some things that stood out:- Unit is beautiful and well appointed. Some of the older units we have stayed at have had some wear and tear (e.g., some of the AC units not working properly, wood doors warped so air escaping and bugs getting in). - Two carts (I think we only used both two times but having the flexibility is huge. I had some works calls I needed to do and this way the family wasn’t waiting around for me. More fun for them and less stress on me) - Gym: The main gym situation at Punta Mita stinks. Can’t use until mid morning, is small and have to pay a high daily charge. There is a community gym as part of this unit which is great - large, lots of cardio equipment and weights - has everything you need. - Having night lights already there is helpful for the kids. - Having the jug of water with the pump - last year I was lifting the thing to try to pour into water cups. - Little things that are often overlooked: plenty of hangers, drying rack for the clothes, extra beach bag. Would 100% recommend.

This was an amazing condo and experience overall. I went with my whole entire family, including my spouse, my kids, my mom, my sister and her kids. Every morning we watched the sunrise, sometimes from the pool on the balcony. Then we would go work out in the gym across the street. When we returned we were welcomed with a delicious breakfast made by Grecia, who was an amazing cook. We felt like true royalty! Everyday we went to a beach club where we played in the waves, ordered drinks and food. Then in the evenings we went out to dinner in the cute little town Punta Mita, which is just about a 10 minute golf cart trip. The condo is appointed beautifully. I love this place!Also, it is perfectly safe. We were there during the recent cartel activity. The security was top notch and we felt secure and like a family all supporting each other along with the locals. Punta Mita is a magical place!!
