An Ideal Location for Peaceful Family Getaways
And yet, this peaceful setting is not isolated.
The charming fishing village of PUERTO MORELOS is only about 8 minutes away by car. It is a wonderful little Mexican village with a relaxed local atmosphere, lovely restaurants, cafés and excellent cuisine, and it is one of the places we recommend visiting during your stay. You will also find several large supermarkets, pharmacies, medical facilities and everything you may need for a comfortable vacation.
At the same time, the location makes it easy to reach the Riviera Maya’s major attractions, theme parks, archaeological sites and other destinations, while allowing you to return each evening to a completely different environment: quiet, private and surrounded by the forest and sea.
Distances to Key Destinations
While Casa Angelica feels like a world apart, it’s conveniently located:
• 25 minutes from Cancun Airport
• 20 minutes to Playa del Carmen
• 8 minutes to Puerto Morelos
• 1.5 hour to Tulum
• 2.5 hours to Chichen Itza

Our family stayed at Coco’s villa and Casa Chanty. There was a little mix up with check in, but very quickly handled. Alberto, Cristina and Damien were all extrememly helpful. We had amazing welcome dinner by chef Beto, who also did some shopping for us. We were visiting for a wedding at Nickelodeon resort, but didn't want to stay there. This was very close to that and Puerto Morelos, where we had many amazing meals. Highly recommended, we will be back!

Secluded and quiet beach in a small residential pocket. Parties and noise are not tolerated, a good place for those of us who like to read quietly or meditate on the beach. Very peaceful!

If you are interested in enjoying the beach and having some quiet time, this is a great location. It is also only 15 minutes to Puerto Morelos, and close to Cancun airport and Playa del Carmen. The house is the right size for two couples. We enjoyed our stay here. Unfortunately for us, it rained during our entire stay.
