The Space:
Independent entrance into a bright open-plan space with a double bed, tastefully furnished with attention to detail. Modern, elegant bathroom with a spacious shower, heated towel rail and designer taps. Fully equipped kitchen with electric hob, microwave and Nespresso machine, opening onto a private panoramic balcony overlooking the cliff and the sea — perfect for breakfast outdoors or a sunset aperitivo. Air conditioning in the sleeping area, washing machine, hairdryer.
Guest Access:
Independent entrance. The area is naturally well ventilated — we recommend not opening windows and the front door at the same time, to avoid strong draughts.
The Neighborhood:
Piazza Castello, Manarola — a quiet, authentic corner. The sea and trails are about a 10-minute walk away.
Getting Around:
On-foot access from the station or car park, no car needed in the village.
Other Things to Note:
Small and medium-sized dogs welcome for a €70 supplement, on a lead in communal areas.
We leave a few breakfast basics in the kitchen for your first morning (croissants, biscuits, jam, tea, coffee, portioned powdered milk, sugar); where a kitchen is available, also our award-winning extra virgin olive oil from a local producer whose mill and honey production can be visited on one of our experiences, plus salt and washing-up liquid, and washing machine/dishwasher pods where fitted. Bed and bath linen included, with shower gel, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. Professional cleaning throughout.
Our concierge office in Vernazza is open 9:30am-7:00pm from 1 March to 31 October; outside this period the office is closed, with presence available on request. We're always happy to welcome guests staying in any of the other villages too, whether for a quick hello or for advice on local experiences and activities.

Interaction with Guests:
Check-in handled by the Cinque Terre Riviera team. In Manarola check-in is self: standard hours 3:00pm–7:00pm, then self check-in with emailed instructions until 10:00pm (phone assistance carries a €50 supplement). No check-in possible after 10:00pm — past this hour car parks close, night trains are rare and often delayed or cancelled, and the villages fall quiet with no one around who could really help anyway: far better to plan a calm arrival the next day, perhaps with luggage storage to start exploring straight away. Heating switched off from 1 April to 1 November.

This in a lovely Manarola apartment with a stunning view of the Ligurian Sea. The pictures of the sea from the balcony really don't do it justice. Morning and evenings were the best since it was just a bit too hot during the day. In my opinion, Manarola is the best of the five villages to stay in. The apartment was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed including good air conditioning which was needed. The location felt safe and access to the restaurants, shopping and hiking are all only a short walk away. A popular swimming spot was a quick walk to the west and on Friday evening this spot really came alive with an outdoor dance party! Check in could have been a bit better since in spite of being fully paid, we didn't receive the code to the key lock box until we were waiting in the hot sun on the doorstep. Also, as per the pictures, note that the apartment has only three rooms, the bedroom, the bathroom and the kitchen so it isn't the best if one person likes to turn in early while the other likes to stay up a little later unless the other person doesn't mind sitting in the kitchen which was fine. It was also excellent having a washing machine in the kitchen. After a day of hiking, the hiking clothes needed a wash. Overall, this apartment provided a comfortable stay with a wonderful view. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the Cinque Terre.

Lovely spot to stay in Manitoba! Be prepared for the uphill walk to the apartment which can be tedious with luggage. Worth the walk though when you sit in the balcony overlooking the sea! Great communication with property management. Comfy bed, nice bathroom.

We enjoyed our brief stay in Manarola. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. It was delightful to sit out on the balcony in the mornings with our coffee and the evenings with our wine and enjoy the incredible view.
