The interior of the house is nice, clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. However the description of the outside, front and backyard needs to be more accurate, it’s not inviting, no curve appeal. The location is on a main street a 20-30min walk to the downtown attractions however is a 5-10 minute drive with ample available parking.
Communication with staff was friendly and responsive.

We always have a great time when we stay at The Retreat. It is clean and comfortable. There are restaurants and shops nearby and the downtown area is about 10 minutes away. We look forward to our next stay there.

The property is very well maintained and there are a couple of good casual restaurants in walking distance. Communication with owner was excellent. Perfect for two couples or a family to share. Only downside was a bit of road and neighborhood noise.

We thought it was a closer walk to downtown. Guest bed very hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise cute place.
