Each bedroom features its own flat-screen TV and a cozy double bed. On the first floor, there are two stylish bathrooms with walk-in showers. After an exciting day in the mountains, relax in our spacious living area with panoramic windows while the fireplace crackles and provides cozy warmth. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to create culinary masterpieces, which you can then enjoy together with your loved ones at the cozy dining table. In addition to a combined living and dining room with a flat-screen TV, the chalet’s first floor also features a storage room with a ski boot dryer and an additional guest restroom. The elegant solid wood parquet flooring creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the underfloor heating provides cozy warmth—a perfect combination for relaxing moments in your chalet.
Reit im Winkl, a climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “locations whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial for relaxation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation ever since through its ongoing efforts. One key factor is its high elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderate and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air through the use of geothermal energy and an extensive bus service network.
