We were attending a family reunion at Caddo Lake and needed a house large enough for 12 people. I was having trouble finding one for my family when I found the listing for Cedar Wood Lodge. It was definitely not fancy but really had everything we needed. It was a little confusing when we got there because I had already figured out sleeping arrangements based on the pictures from the listing but one of the bedrooms had completely different beds that what was pictured. It ended up working out ok though. I hadn't noticed that there was no dishwasher but thankfully we were only staying one night so we didn't use the kitchen that much anyway. One of the beds had a broken wheel on the frame which caused the bed to lean so that was a little interesting. And the beds that our adults slept in did not have particularly good mattresses. We definitely enjoyed the use of the kayaks and canoes.

The home is clean and very comfortable with lots of sitting areas, inside and out. Perfect location for Caddo Lake boat tour options. The host was very attentive on all aspects of the rental with quick and accurate information.

The place isn't as beautiful as the photos make it appear. Not sparkling clean and a few lights dont work. No dishwasher either. Other than that we didnt have any troubles. Recommend it if you dont have better choices available. Kids did enjoy the front yard.
