Beautiful home with incredible mountain views. Star gazing from the hot tub was our favorite! Make sure you bring food as there’s only one small true grocery store in town and supplies/hours are limited. Loved it and would absolutely come back!!

This property was absolutely amazing!! It’s the perfect place for some relaxation in the most unique way. The geo dome, hot tub, fire pit and star gazing bed make it worth it to just stay in and enjoy the property. We’ve already recommended it to some friends and will probably be back ourselves someday.

This was such a fun experience in a stunningly beautiful place. It was impeccably clean, well stocked, and host Dan was very responsive. It’s always nice to know small nuances and for those coming I would say: bring firewood for the wood burning stove in the geodome. It is very expensive to buy locally, and is much more comfortable than the very loud heater that is inside. The full flight of stairs to the living area and kitchen meant we helped carry groceries for our sister who has joint and mobility issues, but the sleeping is on the ground level for suitcases. There was a discrepancy between the listing and the quoted cost of a late checkout, which we ended up not needing anyway. The outdoor living area was so cozy and we enjoyed several of the local attractions and art galleries. The sunset from the picture window and stargazing in the hot tub was a highlight. I definitely recommend this property if you’re looking for a lovely, relaxing getaway in an impeccably maintained property.

Geo Dome is junky, old, hot and beds are very hard. Main house as stated has no air -so you can expect loud swap coolers. But if you rent in the summer you might find your your stay very uncomfortable with all the nats that infiltrate the entire unit due to having to leave the windows open. The laundry from the previous occupants was left in the dryer, wrinkled and not put away for our stay. The swap coolers had to be filled with lots of water and left on for over an hour to be able to stay in the unit comfortably. This VRBO is high priced for the location and GEO Dome. The main house is fine. Description regarding Sand Dunes makes it sound like it's a hop skip and a jump away...they are actually over an hour drive away. Dan was very accomodating until we pushed back on how clean and hot the unit was upon our arrival.
