The Space:

Step inside and feel instantly at home in this warm and inviting cottage, thoughtfully styled to blend original character with modern comfort. Exposed wooden beams, soft lighting and cosy furnishings create the perfect place to relax after a day exploring Cheshire.



The living room is designed for cosy evenings in, complete with a log burner, comfortable seating, Smart TV and fast WiFi. The conservatory offers an additional relaxing space overlooking the private garden, with a sofa bed for extra guests.



The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for home cooking, including an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, air fryer, coffee machine and dining space perfect for family meals or lazy breakfasts.



Upstairs, you'll find two beautifully presented bedrooms:

The modern shower room features a walk-in shower and underfloor heating for added comfort.

Private, off-road parking for up to two cars. A third car can park top right of the shared drive.



Between each booking, this home is professionally cleaned to the enhanced standards and the linen (sheets and towels etc) is professionally laundered.



There is a travel cot and high chair in the property. (Please note this is a standard travel cot suitable from birth to 36 months. It does not come with an additional mattress, pillow or linen so you will need to provide your own).



Usual check-in time is strictly from 4pm and check-out time is by 10am. We're willing to be flexible with this by arrangement but this is dependent on other bookings, so please let us have any requests in advance of your stay.

Getting Around:

Mickle Trafford is a village on the outskirts of Chester. It is on the National Cycle Route if you are a keen cyclist.

Mickle Trafford has a good pubs nearby (see 'other details to note'). Supermarkets can be found nearby, locally in Chester.

There are two fabulous pubs, both a 5 minute drive from the property - The Shrewsbury Arms and The Chester Fields and a wonderful coffee shop - Meadow Lea Farm Coffee Shop a 10/15 minute walk away.



There is also a Neptune Home store just opposite The Chester Fields, which is worth a visit!



Please note that the property has a Smart TV with app access. You will need to use your own logins and the TV does not have live TV. However, you can watch live tv through both the BBC and the ITV app for example.



A dog is welcome at an additional fee of £30 to cover extra cleaning. Please message in advance to advise that you are bringing your dog. If you have a second dog please let us know and this will be considered. Please kindly consider the following rules if bringing your dog;



-Dogs must be well behaved and house trained.

-Dogs must be kept strictly downstairs & off the soft furnishings.

-Any fouling on premises must be cleared.

-Muddy paws should be cleaned before entering the house.
