At the heart of the cottage is the sociable open-plan living space. After a day spent exploring the Dales, settle into the comfortable sofas around the open fire, share stories over dinner or unwind in the conservatory while admiring the surrounding countryside. The well-equipped kitchen makes catering for a group easy, while patio doors lead directly from the dining area into the garden.

Outside, the large enclosed lawned garden provides plenty of space to enjoy sunny days. Start the morning with coffee in the fresh country air, enjoy an alfresco meal together or simply sit back with an evening drink and take in the peaceful rural setting. With two dogs welcome, four-legged family members can join the Yorkshire adventure too.

Five individually styled bedrooms provide flexible accommodation for families and groups. The ground-floor double bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, making it particularly convenient for multigenerational stays. Upstairs are four further bedrooms, including another en-suite double and a flexible super kingsize room that can be arranged as twins on request.

When adventure calls, you’ll be perfectly placed for exploring the spectacular landscapes of Coverdale, Wensleydale and Wharfedale, with excellent opportunities for walking and cycling nearby. After a day in the countryside, the village pub is just a gentle stroll away, ideal for local ales and a relaxed meal before heading back to the cottage.
