The house is divided into 2 apartments, on the ground floor and on the upper floor. In total: 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 double sofa beds in the dining room, 2 American kitchens, baby cots / equipment on request.
From every window you can admire pristine landscapes in the green of the winding valleys.
Along a half mile / 7.5 km unpaved road you reach the gated entrance of this completely fenced property surrounded by olive groves.
Once through the doors you will find the house among landscaped gardens with olive and green trees, lavender, potted plants and herbs for guests who like to use the kitchen.
Just a few steps from the kitchen, beyond the porch, the house boasts an infinity pool with stunning views of the valley and medieval castles.
Guests can dine on the porch with its incredible uninterrupted view of the pool and the valley or in the dining room inside the house on the ground floor with television, wood stoves, view of the open doors on the olive groves: it is a truly amazing place to relax
The rooms have mosquito nets on the windows so guests can enjoy the refreshing breeze while they sleep.

We had a wonderfull time at one af the apartments of Mario and Francesca. There is enough to discover near Gualdo but Villa Mario is above all a place to rest and relax.

Mario was fabulous - wonderful host. We were looking for a break from the busy cities we had visited and this was exactly what we got
Beautiful country side - quiet and remote.

This lovely countryhouse, divided into 2 apartments, was ideal for us, 2 families. We enjoyed privacy and peace... like in heaven!. The house in fact is perched on a hilltop in the rolling countryside at the very center of Umbria and there is a stunning 360° view of the surrounding land and distant hills. At the front of the house there is the pool and at the back a beautiful olive grove where we had pic-nic. In the large verandah we relaxed and had dinner 'al fresco' while taking the glorious views....the children were playing...just like a dream!

Terrific location, comfortable & relaxing. Unfortunately a number of aspects detracted from the quality of a delightful place. Kitchen was very poorly equipped & many basic items were not provided e.g. simple cleaning materials, rubbish bags, chopping board, serving utensils, wine glasses etc etc. The table was broken & wobbly, kitchen lighting terrible. Poor value for money.
